Calf Marking and Cattle Health Workshop

With Spring just around the corner, now is the perfect time to learn about calf marking, weaning and care of cattle in general. Topics will include how to mark calves, vaccinations and routine health checks. We will also be discussing cattle health and the nutrition of cows and calves post weaning.  This workshop will focus on the critical operations performed in Spring.

Join Dr Lou Baskind and Helen Smith from South East Local Land Services and Brad Fleming, a local farmer. There will be practical and theory sessions and plenty of time for participants to talk to the presenters and meet other small farmers. Morning tea and lunch is provided.
