ACT Woodlands Forum 2018

The ACT Woodlands Forum will bring together, scientists, researchers, practitioners and community groups to share knowledge and learnings about woodlands and woodland species in our region. The forum will include invited speakers on a variety of topics and will also include speed talks and poster presentations, aimed at sharing knowledge from new researchers, community based science and outcomes from on-ground projects. This is a free event, however places are limited so registration is required. The forum consists of an evening session on 27 June and an all-day session on 28 June. You are welcome to attend both, to do so, just choose a ticket to each session when you register. Both sessions are catered, so please indicate any dietary requirements upon registration. …
Seeking posters and presenters
The forum will include invited speakers on a variety of topics and will also include a poster session and a “speed session” on Thursday 28 June, aimed at sharing knowledge from new researchers, community based science and outcomes from on-ground projects.

The ACT Government would like to invite you to register your interest for either a poster presentation or a five minute speed presentation (or both). Please RSVP to register your interest by Monday 30 April at [email protected]

Posters: If you are interested in participating in the poster session, please provide the following information

  • Title and brief description of the poster
  • Name of poster presenter and role (in project and currently)

Speed talks: We are looking for presentations that are five minutes long and focus on why you did what you did and what you learned from it. Please contact Amanda at [email protected] for abstract guidelines.
