What: Woody Weed Removal
Tools: saw, loppers, secateurs (some provided)
Please wear suitable clothing, especially long sleeves, sun hat, sturdy footwear, and strong gardening gloves.
Bring a day pack and do carry water.

Inaugural 'Friends of Mulligans Flat' meeting

Come along to the inaugural meeting of the 'Friends of Mulligans Flat' meeting at Delfin Lend Lease Sales Office, Francis Forde Boulevarde, Forde on Sunday 23 October at 11 am.

Parkcarers of Southern Murrumbidgee - September activity

Planned activities: Planting trees and shrubs, spreading Themeda seed (Kangaroo Grass) and making clay seed balls.
Please wear suitable clothes and sturdy footwear, and bring water. If you have experience with clay seed balls that would be great.

Farrer Ridge Parkcare - September working bee

Tools: Bring a small mattock or weeding tool if you have one. We will have some pruners for woody weeds too.

Fieldwork Training for Mt Taylor Reptile Survey
Submitted by Deb Kellock on Fri, 05/08/2011 - 10:03Meeting Place: Mt Taylor Reserve Car Park and Picnic area at the end of Waldock St. (Waldock St. runs off Macfarland Cres. in Chifley)
Time: 2pm to approx. 4pm
Bring: A pair of work gloves and wear long trousers. Also you may need warm clothing, a sun hat etc. Anyone with a bad back will need to let the trainer (Will) know. Also it is a good idea to wear a back support if prone to slight back problems.
